How to know which route the bus driver use if you have no intention to follow the driver? Pass an iPhone to the child and let child keep in bag. iPhone has a function called Find iPhone. Use that function and from the parents' iPhones, can track where is the location of the child when the child is on school bus. Talk about technology 🙂

Love the Find iPhone function. I can track where is my child on the school bus now 🙂

Hi, anyone has any idea is it pinafore or PE attire for One Compassion today? I did not find my gal’s time-table in her bag yesterday. Most probably Mrs Robert will give out to them today. Thanks.

            Hi Mutree & Freellie,

My gal is in 1 Compassion too. :hi5: So nice to know another mummies from the class.

My gal is very happy with her first day at school. Thanks to all helpful mummies here for info on preparing for 1st day!

I was also wondering that timetable is not given out yet? So looks like she'll wear pinafore again today. There's also a note to fill up the pupil profile form with our email address, but I think we have filled up on Orientation day? Or did I miss something?

Hi Freellie, I saw from the time-table that my child got back from school yesterday, if it states PE/HE, does it means PE or HE? It is not specified. I called the office to check. Someone said if there is indication PE/HE, wear PE attire. But what if today's lesson is HE and not PE? I think I let my child wear PE attire to school. Why? Because if she wears pinafore, she can't take part in PE but if she wears PE attire, she can still take part in HE or PE whatever they have today.

Office staff said Modular Curriculum is compulsory to wear PE attire. Maybe parents should check with DD's teacher for more clarification on specific days to wear PE attire/pinafore.

By the way, I hope other parents have purchased <好品德 好公民 >textbook, <好品德 好公民 >Activity book and \"An Active and Healthy Me\" health education book from bookshop yesterday. Stock has arrived and is on sale already and was previously unavailable.

I called the office and the admin lady told me to let her wear pinafore if she did not get her time-table. Cross my fingers that there is really no PE lesson today for her class.

Yup, we filled in the forms on orientation day. Anyway, I indicated my email address on the reply slip and crossed out the two sentences. Should work fine I suppose.

Just to update, she received timetable today. There’s also pupil profile form to fill up.

She says need to bring color pencils on Monday.

                  Happy weekend everyone!!

My girl shared her box of colour pencils today with her friends because they did not not bring. So sweet of her. The pupil profile form was handed in today too. The CCA form is waiting to be filled up. More or less my DD has decided on the 3 choices. She has to decide what she wants as she will be the one going for CCA and parents are not the one going for CCA. Therefore, it is important, she makes her own choice.

Hi chosun and freellie, yes, good to know parents from the same class. I think different class gives out different pieces of form at slightly different timing. Semgal, if what the admin staff told u is true, i think my gal can wear pe attire everyday! Her only day without pe/he is the day with modular curriculum. And does mean that all the parents have to go to the bookstore to get those books now?

My DD shared about how her Chinese teacher carry out oral conversation individually with them on second day of school. The girls have to go to teacher's table one at a time like oral exam like that kind. I suppose she is gauging the girls' standard of Chinese. My DD said there were 3 questions. First question my DD catch no ball and didn't answer till her teacher has to ask her in English if my DD understands. Too bad she doesn't understand what the teacher was asking her and said don't know. 2nd question was asked about the favourite colour. My DD told her teacher red was her favourite colour. I asked my Dd, hey isn't pink your favourite colour? Guess what my DD said? \"I forgot how to say pink in Chinese so I just said 红色。*LOL* Omg, pink is 粉红色 ,my dd forgotten her colours in Chinese already. Last question was about how many family members in the family. That one she knows for sure. Hope the Chinese teacher can tell the class more Chinese stories as a way to improve the Chinese Language and for the children to be interested in the language.

When I asked my DD what was her Chinese teacher name, my Dd replied,\"The Chinese teacher introduced herself on first day but on second day she did not introduce herself again so I forgot her name.\" *LOL*

Then another funny incident. My DD told me she has a Spider-man PE/HE teacher. I was like what?! Then my DD said his face was like Spider-Man. Really? But I heard that teacher is very fit and athletic-looking.

My DD also asked me why her classroom was so boring without any toys to play. :? She asked me if her teacher hid the toys somewhere. *LOL*
