The levy applies whether I take grant or not. This is what I understand. My SIL had to pay for levy even though she didn't take any grant.

My second flat was a resale flat. A check with hdb confirmed no need to pay levy for it. But, need to pay levy for my first bto flat if I buy direct from hdb again.

Did your girl DSA via cca? If yes, no need to worry about cca. Their cca is very competitive. After 2 weeks of trial, my girl only got 2 waitlist.

Brought my girls to the national gallery. Cool place from the heat. Many activities to keep my girls occupied. Outdoor is a no no in this weather!

our first flat is a resale but we took the grant, so it's considered first flat. 2nd flat will be the SBF we are buying directly from...highly likely it will be the flat we will be retiring in, since singaporeans are given 2 chances.
anyway, we are already in our mid 40s...just thinking of moving is scary with the packing and unpacking and the renovation before moving.

i'm trying to shortlist units in the corner so that i can leave my door open.

One more week before you can select right? Hope you get a unit you like.

Yes, less housework for a smaller unit. Told Hubby he can take the living room while I use the bedroom.

For the newer flats, the smaller units are not along the common corridor... more rebates for utilities.

My parents downsized and the sales proceeds are returned to their cpf account. This increases their cpf life payout.

You can ask to see their materials. I feel that it’s similar to assessment books. But, will still be sending my child. I feel that the extra teaching will help in the child foundation. I am considering between mavis and mind strecher.
