I am currently working in a prestige girl school in Bukit Timah Area and would be able to get my girl in as Phase 2A2. And my husband is an alumni of CHS. I am an old girl from HIPS. We are now staying at Punggol.


What would your decision for the children's primary school registration?

Send my girl to the girl school and my boy to CHS. Move to Bukit Timah or Bishan. Punggol is near to neither school.

I have no sore throat, but find my voice a bit coarse

One of my ex colleagues used to drink this... no coffee or tea for her.

I am depending on cpf payout and passive income from rental. Unless I return to work, there is probably not much further assets I can accumulate. Even if not enough, nothing much I can do. Probably just go when money is used up. My best assets to my girls will be education. If got excess, of course will leave to them.

Honestly, for people who are sensitive to smells we can discern the difference.


I find frozen and frozen thawed chicken smells. Fresh chicken smell is not so strong. So if I cook non heavily spiced dishes, I will buy fresh chicken for things like chicken rice, roast chicken.

Beef as well. Those that are prepacked will have a kind of sourish smell. Likewise, for steak, I will buy from the butcher. If for stew, I do not mind those from the chiller.

It’s true...just bought the thawed frozen chicken from ntuc this morning. Has a strong smell and the meat is tough.

I agreed with the point. My girl is in pm class with only 11 students whereas the am class has 20 students. I noticed that she has more chance to speak up.

We only eat chicken breast meat at home. Hubby don’t like pork. Maybe partly why dd is underweight. She eat kfc without skin… saying skin is not healthy. I thot that’s the best part.
