      Hi Dazzle,

Thanks for replying and your well wishes. Do you have any idea what we should bring to support our appeal?
I am new to SJI too. You may want to check out SJI website on appeal process:
      http://www.sji.edu.sg/subpage.php?id=135
      Hope that helps.

      Hi Dazzle,

May I know what aggregate did your son get? We opted for SJI but were unsuccessful. My DS has an aggregate of 244. Did the aggreagate COP really went up?
He scored 256. Saw on the other thread that it is 245 (up 3 from last yr). Hope your son will succeed in his appeal.

ACS(I) IB COP is 256 (called sch)

Mine got 256 but did not get in. Perhaps because not Singaporean

The t-score goes to several decimal places. So even though 2 with same integer t-score, are actually different in MOE database. Suggest you appeal. I know of those who were originally rejected (right on COP, even 1 lower) but made it on appeal. There's still movement after the posting results.[/quote]Thanks for info. I don't intend to appeal. What will be, will be. It is God's will.

Does the bookshop accept NETS or cheque ? or only cash ?

Any idea if the new uniform for Secondary 1 is ready ?

My son is joining the SJI family :rahrah:

Mine too. Noticed that SJI thread is rather quiet. Is it SJI's parents are more hands-off ? Hope more parents will join in to share ideas and info.

    • RE: Any good schools around Bishan ?

      princessjoy:
Among the 3 schools you mentioned, Pierce Sec Sch stands out as compared to the other 2 schools.

Pierce students are more prim and proper than Bishan Park. Heard from a friend whose son study in Pierce that the school teachers are a caring lot. Hope that helps.

I am not concerned about what the stalls sell. I just told my son to eat something that is filling and not too oily. The onus is on him to buy healthy food to eat. Even if he decide to eat fried chicken wings, so be it. After all, kids are so active, they can burn off the calories very fast. As for ice cream, which kid doesn’t like ice cream?
