      Swift Formula:
      4x + 21.90 = 7x - 16.50

      3x = 38.40
      x = 12.60

      12.60 x 4 + 21.90
      = 50.40 + 21.90
      = 72.30
      Meh .
      x = 12.80

      12.80 x 4 + 21.90 = 72.30

      Calculation error =(
      Did it in a squeezy bus lol .

    • RE: M1, Singtel or Starhub?

      lego:
      I just got my mobile changed to M1 recently. The port over for mobile takes only a few hours, it is done late at night with minimum disruption to service.

      It's the internet fibre broadband that I have a problem porting over to M1. I understand that all fibre broadband installation is done by 3rd party -Netlink Trust, not M1.
      My initial appointment with Netlink Trust was cancelled because of some \"insufficient capacity\" issue and I was told that it can take up to 40 days for them to fix it. As of today, I am still waiting for it to be resolved. :sad:
      U can't port over internet .
      There's no number or line to be used .
      It's just cancellation of the broadband of your original ISP and new service installation by m1 and opennet staffs .

      Duration and time can be in the same statement .

      Timeline is always recommended as it gives a clearer idea of the whole question .

      Hi, I need an advice on the following question. My dd used 2 methods to solve the questions. However, there seems to have some discrepancies in the answer.

      1) the area of big triangle minus off the area of small rectangle - 48cm2.
      2) the area of the rectangle + 2 sets of area of the little triangle shown. - 30cm2.

      Anyone can explain why is there the discrepancy?

      Thanks.
      If the triangles are proportionate, that 3cm would be 6cm instead.

    • RE: Q&A - PSLE Math

      masu:
      Amber had 360 more beads than Lynn at first. On monday

      , after they had each use 1/3 of what they had, the number of lynn's beads became 25% of Amber's. On tuesday, after Amber gave some beads to Lynn, the number of Amber's beads became 60% of Lynn beads.
      a) How many beads Lynn used on aMonday?
      b) How many beads did Amber give to Lynn on Tuesday?

      Please help me to solve thk u..
      Draw a model .
      1. Amber = Lynn + 360 ....so Lynn = 1unit , Amber = 1 unit + 360 .
      2. After using 1/3 , Draw another set of model to show 2/3 left .
      3. 2/3 unit = Lynn , 2/3 unit + 2/3 x 360 = Amber .
      4. At this point Lynn = 1/4 of Amber , 25% to 100% , 1 : 4 .
      5. Form an equation from the 3 and 4 and solve .
      6. No change in total number of marbles . Amber become 60% and Lynn 100% so ratio is 3:5 .
      7. compare 5 and 6

      Hi,

      Can someone help to answer this question with a model?

      Jane bought 4 similar tins of paint and 3 similar brushes for $54. Mary paid $106 for 8 similar tins of paint and 5 similar brushes. Find the cost of a tin of such paint.

      Thanks.
      This is solving by elimination method . Make either 1 the same , so they cancel out each other . Then u left with some value and another unknown .
