      No. Numeric, Try splitting the basketball up. So 35% doesn’t play tennis, 25% doesn’t play badminton. U will end up having 10% as the minimum.

      Circle intersecting for 3 still ok but i still feel it can get complicated. As the number rises, it’s impossible to draw 5 or 10 circles.

      Bars are more simple for students to understand since students learn model + units since young. Because model + units are the easiest way to present the question to students. After they understand the concept, u can throw any % and any amount of category, they will be able to solve it.

      [quote=\"Xtintedcandies\"]In a primary school, 75% of the pupils plays badminton, 70% play basketball and 65% play tennis. Given that at least x% of the pupils play all three games, find the value of x.

      Please help me. Thanks 🙂

      100%-75%=25%
      70%+65%=135%
      135%-25%=110%
      2X=110%
      X=110/2
      =55%

      Welcome to Swift Formula, i am Kaixer.
      Question asks for \"at least X%\" so you want to find the minimum value of X.

      In short for similar question like this.
      Just take 100% - 75% = 25% and 100% - 70% = 30% then add both up to 55%.
      Subtract the 55% from 65% , u get 10%.

      U can take 100% minus any 2 given. Take the last value minus the sum of the 2 remaining value. u can get the minimum value for x.

      M1. The big boys Singtel and Starhub suck. Just look at how they bully myrepublic into paying exorbitant rates to use their networks.

      A friend of mine has a similar story, only that she did take up the scholarship (degree program), but decided to quit after the 1st year, as she was offered to do science, where she has no passion in. She applied to teach again, using her 'A' levels results and was accepted. She did her DipEd and now teaching in a primary school. So I think that if you're really passionate about teaching, give it a try 🙂
