      Hi XYZ1

      thks for the helpful reply:)
No problem, my pleasure...i myself hv learnt a lot from other parents in ksp forum.....and by the way...one more pt...if u are so concerned abt chinese curriculum...my advice is send your child to berries.

I did that with my 2 kids and they loved berries and the sch environment is also very warm with caring teachers. I recommend the bt batok one (opp west mall and located inside the community center)..but they hv a long waiting list.

      Hope this helps again.

      Hi mummies

i stumble upon this thread n hope someone can help me with these questions, thks:)
-my girl will turn 3 this yr n next yr will be N2. thinking of JCK N2. think in taman jurong. just wondering if it's worth it sending her on a sch bus there since i stay near pioneer mrt? as in, is the syllabus good enough n environment good?
-does the curriculum offer chinese n if so, how long is the lesson?
-anyone knows when will registration start for N2?
      appreciate any reply, thks!
Hi..my son just completed his 3 years with JCK and is now in P1. Just to share with you that JCK is probably one of the better kindys in Jur area...as the sch prepares the kids well for P1. The English and Maths at K2 really prepared my son well for P1 now...in fact his P1 spelling now is \"easy\" for him...

The Principal - Mrs Lin is a very strict and warm lady, the teachers are generally quite dedicated and they always hv a way to \"tame\" the children...my son loved the sch so much that he did not want to go to P1 as he wanted to study in JCK \"forever\"...generally, i had no regrets sending my son...and in fact i pulled my daughter out (she's supposed to be K1 in 2011) and put her in childcare now since we've shifted away from jurong area...and i'm having 2nd thots now.....

The sch does offer chinese...but i'm not sure the # of hours they spent on chinese a week, u hv to ask the sch.

I stayed near gek poh previously and my children took sch bus to JCK...general i hv no complaints abt the sch as i find the sch environment genuinely warm and i saw how both my children enjoyed the sch tremendously.

      Hope this helps.

      Hi all

anyone whose kids hv outgrown this series?
If yes, i would like to explore buying from you at 2nd hand price?

My P1 DS starting to get hooked on this…thot it is cheaper for me to buy 2ndhand from someone whose kids hv outgrown.

      thanx

This is really testing my powess of visualization. I've to say the Compass Height one is bigger than both. I'm comparing the variety of assessment books on display. Why don't you all go there this weekend? Don't worry, if you find that the trip is not beneficial, just claim mileage from Popular lor, keke.

      suaku here...where is compass height??

That was indeed a suaku question....at Seng Kang......[/quote]It is compass POINT rt?
I went to look up the Popular Website, they hv only 1 outlet in compass point in seng kang.

Hi I'm new to this forum...my ds failed to ballot successfully at PHPPS at phase 2 C and we were registered at BTPS...then just 3 weeks back, we got a call from PHPPS and that's why i'm here now.

My ds is going to be in Integrity 5 (this is new class for P1).

Mark -> I think i know who u are....i know your sister  and i believe i stay in the same estate as you....hope to learn more from you and some of the other parents as i can see all the parents here are extremely involved!!!!

I get stressed reading this thread...think i don't really do much for my ds except to get him into this sch.... πŸ˜“

From your post, I think I know who you are too even though I've not met
you personally. You must be my sis's ex-neighbour who then became my neighbour .

After all the emotional upheavals that your family had to struggle thru the past few mths, we certainly heaved a hugh sigh of relief for your family (esp. by my sis) when we heard about the unexpected good news 3 weeks ago. Guess that's why they say that successful P1 enrollment is better than
striking 4D 1st prize  . Btw, I think my mum knows your mum too. So you must have met my little genius of a niece who never fails to amaze me with her linguistic powess.

On the part about being stressed, I think if we're
not stressed after reading all these posts here by the old birds then something is wrong. πŸ˜‰

Tx, hope to meet u soon...we've been to ur hse once b4, but u were not ard...so we've met ur dw
