I remember once at a hawker centre, I bumped into an NS friend. He was quite a loud person and shouted... \"Wah... married for less than a year ah? Still holding hands??!!\"

      That was 14 years ago.

Fast forward 14 years and 3 kids later... Yes we are still holding hands. : )

:celebrate: ya! It is something to be proud of !! :celebrate:

Partly also due to safety reasons because my wife's glasses tend to fog up when she comes out of the car. I then have to hold her like leading a blind person.

ya...should always maintain that simple touch....but sad to say my kid always come in between our hands. It ended up with 2 of us swinging our kid's hands. Ha Ha.

this happens to us too. Just remember to hold your spouse hand when your child let go of yours πŸ˜‰

tankee, this sentence of yours make me have this thought.

We are always holding our kids' hand and there would be a day, our kids would let go our hands to hold on their spouses.

We tend not to hold our spouses' hand more often than our kids, but its our spouses' hands who would continue holding with us, when our kids let go ours.

i like this thought of yours..

yes, it is our spouse that will be with us when our kids no longer need us by their side..

i agree.. so even after DD is born, we make it a point to 'pak toh' every now and then, just the 2 of us.. πŸ™‚

                      Yes we do.

And if DH is carrying DD, I will hold on to his free (upper) arm. If I'm carrying DD, he will hold my waist.
Then again, we are only married 2 years this Dec and DD will be 1 this Oct.
                      Sayang your spouse.
Your children will grow up and have families of their own.
But your spouse is your life partner
