The Singapore boys' under-15 football team showed tremendous character to bounce back from their semi-final defeat to Haiti by blitzing Montenegro 4-1 Wednesday to bag the bronze medal at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG).

In front of thousands of fans at Jalan Besar Stadium, Mohd Hanafi struck two goals, with a Suhaimi Muhaimin header and a Mazlan Amirul penalty rounding off the goal bonanza.

Well Done ! Young Lions !! :celebrate:
Did USA participate in YOG?

Yes.
But why did u ask dis question?

They should be 1st or 2nd in the medal tally. :?
Although we see many reports here, many media in other countries do not or hardly report about the game at all. Just go to sites like CNN or BBC to see if you can find report of the game. Many countries also view it as a \"small\" game and do not send their best athletes here.

Hi, don't think they have it yesterday.

We purposely drove down to Marina last nite to see the YOG flame before it's gone. Been tied up with CA so last night was the perfect time for us.

We tried watching YOG whenever we can. Really enjoyable. Esp like the weight lifters n the soccer matches.

and those who didn't get medals also get my support e.g. myra the platform diver. she looked like she was hurting real bad after each dive. she really showed that she had determination to finish the competition. that was gold.
