Ear piercing

Thanks for the replies, verykiasu2010 and Pen88n. The problem is my MIL wants my daughter to wear Indian-style earrings and they're always huge. We got my daughter's ears pierced at B*Dazzle and she cried and cried at the pain. Of course, it went away but my husband doesn't like it. Her holes seem to be getting smaller even though we've never taken out her earstuds (bought from B&Dazzle) so to accommodate MIL, hubby wants to remove the studs, let the holes close, then get them pierced again. But only if its contactless because then it should be truly painless. Right? I hope!
1. just to please your MIL ? whose ears is it ?
2. contactless ?? got such thing ?
3. want truly huge rings to be worn on it ? consult the Dayaks of Sarawak- they have been wearing the huge rings for generations !! -
how old is ur DD?

Oy verykiasu2010, my MIL is very nice and doesn’t make demands
She’s just concerned that my daughter’s current earstuds are quite narrow. I also have problems getting others – see so many cute designs but the posts look thicker. Contactless, just thought I’d ask. Never know until you ask right? And no, Dayak huge. Just Indian huge.
Sun_2010, my daughter just turned seven. -
If the holes are already there, just get a stud that is slightly bigger than the current one and change it. The hole will slowly enlarge and there’s minimal pain.
Letting the hole close and repiercing is not good. Usually, they will avoid repiercing the same spot due to some scarring from the previous piercing.
And I agree with VKS2010, repierce just to please MIL??? -
If you want to enlarge the hole just wear an earring with a thicker post, and the hole will gradually widen. The size is dependent on the earring. Meaning once you wear a smaller post earring, the hole will become smaller again. That’s how the human body works.

that is also how the Sarawak Dayak got big ear lobe with big rings, and the minority tribes of Yunnan and Burma ditto -

Hi,
Would like to find out where can I get 18K or 22K gold with a pink / purple stud that is reasonably priced - <$50 possible? I am looking for a pair fo DD for daily wear to school and I want it to be gold / white gold to ensure no allergic reaction, but am not prepared to spend too much on it in case she loses it accidentally…
Thanks for help.
