Oy verykiasu2010, my MIL is very nice and doesn’t make demands 🙂 She’s just concerned that my daughter’s current earstuds are quite narrow. I also have problems getting others – see so many cute designs but the posts look thicker. Contactless, just thought I’d ask. Never know until you ask right? And no, Dayak huge. Just Indian huge.

Sun_2010, my daughter just turned seven.

If the holes are already there, just get a stud that is slightly bigger than the current one and change it. The hole will slowly enlarge and there’s minimal pain.

Letting the hole close and repiercing is not good. Usually, they will avoid repiercing the same spot due to some scarring from the previous piercing.

And I agree with VKS2010, repierce just to please MIL???

If you want to enlarge the hole just wear an earring with a thicker post, and the hole will gradually widen. The size is dependent on the earring. Meaning once you wear a smaller post earring, the hole will become smaller again. That’s how the human body works.

that is also how the Sarawak Dayak got big ear lobe with big rings, and the minority tribes of Yunnan and Burma ditto

I managed to find 3 clinics that have ear piercing service.

Harmony family clinic at choa chu kang, according to the website, charge $15 for the piercing, not sure if stud/earings included.

GSH clinic at tampinese. $35 all in, piercing, sterlised vacuum pack studs/earings & cream.
              BLK 730 Tampines Street 71 #01-51‎ 520730

Raffles medical at their hospital at bugis. Price is abt $200+ all in.

                    Hi,

Would like to find out where can I get 18K or 22K gold with a pink / purple stud that is reasonably priced - <$50 possible? I am looking for a pair fo DD for daily wear to school and I want it to be gold / white gold to ensure no allergic reaction, but am not prepared to spend too much on it in case she loses it accidentally…

                    Thanks for help.

DD in Sec school now and asking if she can have her ears pierced?

I happend to be at Isetan the other day and the sales lady told me if we purchased ear rings from her , it’s free. But the cheapest pair she has is $60! And that’s the only counter proving ear piercing service.

Does anyone know where this can be done? During my time, I paid only $10 to have mine pierced at Goldsmith shop. Do they still do that ?

Bedazzled at Wisma Atria. They do both ears at once. But expensive cos the earrings are expensive (but good quality I felt).

I tried Goldheart whereby they did one ear at a time. After the right ear my DD refused to get the left ear pierced!
