    • RE: Soy milk maker

      Funz:
It blends and cooks at the same time.

So far I have used mine to make soya milk, almond cream, black sesame cream, mushroom soup, tomato soup, smoothees.
Thks! I googled and realized that besides grinding, the soy milk maker also cook at the same time! One site put it this way: a soy milk maker is a combi of blender and coffee maker! Found this link especially useful, just to share with potential buyers:
      http://www.squidoo.com/how-to-make-soy-milk
The videos on making soy milk using blender and soy milk maker sum it all!

I'm glad u fully utilized ur soy milk maker Faunz! Am still considering getting the Joyoung one (Qoo10 selling at less than $150!)...which brand is urs?

How is it different from a blender? Or juice extractor?

Any parents here know whether Pri 1 got SA2? I saw the Term 4 Calendar, only managed to find P1 Maths SA2 on 29 Oct, not sure if there is a printing error, coz there weren’t any dates for EL and CL SA2? TIA.

    • RE: All About Air Fryer

      Blessed Homemaker:
I just tried airfrying mooncakes (piglets) last night. I need to bake in the oven for 20-25 mins but with the airfryer, it's just 6-7 mins in total. Good for those who want to bake a few pieces.

wow Blessed Homemaker, Philips should appoint you as their spokesmen for its airfryer! You are so good in making this airfryer versatile! Do you mind sharing the recipes? TIA 🙂

      Blessed Homemaker:
You can still bake in the 9220 model by either buying the baking pan from Philips or use any baking pan that can fit into the basket tray.

      :thankyou:

Hi all, understand that model 9220 (only model available in Singapore) is different from 9225 because 9220 cannot bake. Can I buy baking tray (accessory) from Philips separately then add onto my 9220 model? Is it compatible? TIA!

NLB's Library Book Sale is here again from 18 to 20 July, 9.30am to 8pm, at Singapore Expo, Hall 4A. Pick from a huge selection of used library titles at bargain prices! Visit http://www.nlb.gov.sg for more details.

Hi Admummy, my heart is racing.. 🕺
But i dont seem to find any info on Expo or NLB website... Kindly enlighten?.. 😄

iLoveChubby, thks for the highlight! I was equally excited and can't wait to share with Kiasuparents! so I just cut and paste from my email...i received this piece of info. via my email (coz I've subscribed to NLB news)....just now following your query, i called up NLB general line at 6332 3255 (press option 8 for general enquiries) and the officer told me that there was system error and the email was generated wrongly! this was meant to be last year email reminder! So there will NOT be any NLB's Library Book Sale in July this year, she told me there will be one in Sep 2012 but website not updated yet... :stupid: My apologies for the wrong information...wonder anyone else received the same \"error\" email?!!
